Peligroso Reposado Tequila is a 100% blue Weber agave tequila from Jalisco, Mexico. It rests in American oak barrels that once held whiskey, which gives it a light golden color. The brand is now part of the Sazerac portfolio, and you can find the rest of the Peligroso tequila lineup alongside it.
The brand describes an opening burst of agave followed by a spicy, fruity finish. Reviewers also pick up vanilla and caramel on the nose, with black pepper, citrus and a hint of dark chocolate on the palate.
Sip it neat, pour it on the rocks, or mix a Margarita with a little extra oak and spice. It suits drinkers who want an easygoing reposado tequila that works for both sipping and mixing.
