Parcela Tamarisco Verum Pinot Noir
This Pinot Noir from Patagonia, Argentina, beautifully captures the region’s unique cool climate. The combination of long, warm days and very cold nights results in a bright, clean wine with intense flavours. Expect ripe red cherries, summer fruits, and an elegant finish that lingers on the palate. The Del Rio Elorza family purchased their vineyard in 2001, with a focus on high-density planting for quality. The wine is made through meticulous hand-picking, cold soaking, and fermentation. It is then aged for six months in French oak, which adds further complexity and refinement.
- A nose of wild raspberries and subtle wood smoke
- The palate is fresh, offering smoky notes and a blend of red and purple fruits
- A touch of earthy complexity adds depth
- Verum Pinot Noir has a long and refined finish, showcasing purity and elegance
This Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with duck, mild game, or roasted chicken. It also works well with soft cheeses like Brie or Camembert.
