Portland Syrups Pomegranate Cherry Syrup is a hand-brewed, all-natural 12 oz concentrate that mixes tart pomegranate and ripe cherry flavors into cocktails, mocktails, and sodas.
This small-batch syrup, made in Oregon, delivers a bright, layered fruit profile that works as an easy mixer or finishing drizzle. Each 12 oz bottle contains about 12 servings, giving home bartenders and beverage lovers a convenient way to add balanced tart-and-sweet notes without artificial flavors. The syrup is designed to be versatile—combine with sparkling water for a soda, stir into cocktails for depth, or use as a garnish component for desserts and coffee drinks.
How does this syrup change my cocktails and sodas?
The pomegranate-cherry blend brings both tang and sweetness to drinks, creating more complex fruit-forward cocktails and mocktails. It layers acidity and jammy cherry notes so simple recipes feel more sophisticated with minimal effort.
- Add 0.5–1 oz to a classic sour or fizz for tart balance and color.
- Stir into sparkling water for an instant fruit soda without muddling fruit.
- Mix with spirits like vodka, gin, or bourbon to enhance mid-palate fruit tones.
How do I use the Portland Syrups syrup for quick drinks?
Using the syrup is straightforward: measure, pour, and stir. It dissolves easily in cold and room-temperature liquids, so it’s ideal for busy hosts or bartenders who need consistent, repeatable flavor.
- Standard soda: 1 part syrup to 4 parts sparkling water, adjust to taste.
- Mocktail base: 0.75 oz syrup plus citrus and seltzer for a balanced nonalcoholic drink.
- Cocktail tweak: replace simple syrup with this for fruit-forward sweetness and color.
What are the ingredients and quality points to expect?
Portland Syrups emphasizes natural ingredients and small-batch production for a cleaner, more honest flavor profile. The syrup is hand-brewed in Oregon, aiming to capture authentic pomegranate tartness and cherry richness without relying on artificial additives.
- All-natural fruit concentrates and cane sugar for genuine fruit character.
- Handcrafted in small batches for consistent taste and aroma.
- 12 oz bottle yields approximately 12 standard servings, offering good value.
How should I store and portion the syrup for best results?
Keep the bottle refrigerated after opening to preserve freshness and flavor. Because the syrup is concentrated, a little goes a long way; precise portions prevent overpowering drinks and reduce waste.
- Refrigerate after opening and use within recommended shelf life on label.
- Use a jigger or tablespoon for repeatable measurements.
- Shake or stir before measuring if syrup has settled for even consistency.
Who is this for: This syrup is made for home mixologists, coffee shop operators, and anyone who enjoys crafting quick, fruit-forward beverages without fuss. It suits people who prefer natural ingredients and small-batch products, plus bartenders seeking a reliable, ready-made flavor concentrate to speed service and expand menu options.
