An amazing tribute to the man who set the Oliva family on course towards cigar greatness, Melanio Oliva, the Oliva Serie V Melanio Double Toro is the ultimate guilty pleasure for Oliva fans and any lovers of rich, voluptuous and smooth cigar experiences. With incomparable breadth of flavors, the Serie V Melanio Double Toro is already a legend of its time.
The hulking 6” x 60 Oliva Serie V Melanio Double Toro is a well-made stick draped with a pristine Ecuadorian wrapper that shields a Nicaraguan binder leaf and an astonishingly lush blend of Nicaraguan Habano Ligero filler tobaccos from Jalapa. The result is a thick and velvety smoke of well over an hour.
Once the luxurious beast gets going, earth and salted caramel notes ease onto the palate as hints of espresso, cedar and pepper fill out the full-bodied, yet silky smooth smoke. A soft creaminess flows through each puff that crescendo towards one of the truly great finishes of any cigar in its class.
Rich and full-bodied with an immensely complex profile, the Oliva Serie V Melanio Double Toro is a rare find for any connoisseur wanting a finely tuned balance between character and taste. Savor these unique smokes with a refined libation to capture every nuance that these luscious tobaccos have to offer.
