To honor Melanio Oliva, who literally planted the seeds of what would become the Oliva family business, the Oliva family has created the magnificent Serie V Melanio. Delivering bold character that is at once vastly-textured and smooth, the Oliva Serie V Melanio Churchill is simply as good as it gets!
The beautifully box-pressed 7” x 50 Serie V Melanio Churchill features a taste-bud shattering blend of Nicaraguan Habano Ligero tobaccos from the famed Jalapa region. These tobaccos are tucked into a hearty Nicaraguan binder leaf and then adorned with a velvety Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper leaf to create the ultimate excursion of an hour and a half or more.
The flavor extravaganza begins with lush wood, leather and earth notes which are bonded together by a serenely subtle creamy essence. Layers of leather, coffee and caramel ease onto the palate as the full-bodied smoke flows effortlessly without jarring the senses. Bursts of pepper blend harmoniously with an encore of cream as the stellar smoke rises to a masterfully composed finale.
With its incredible complexity and refreshingly subtle richness, it is no wonder that the Oliva Serie V Melanio series has soared to the top of the cigar world, recently being named Cigar of the Year. The Oliva Serie V Melanio Churchill is truly one of the great Nicaraguan-made cigars of the millennia.
