The Oliva NUB 460 Maduro stands as the flagship vitola of the NUB Maduro portfolio, masterfully engineered to deliver the full flavour volume and optimal temperature of a cigar's "sweet spot" from the very first light. Measuring 4 inches with a stout 60 ring gauge, this iconic short Gordo format compresses an extensive quantity of long-filler tobaccos into a compact silhouette. The substantial girth generates an expanded surface area across the foot, allowing the smoker to immediately experience dark, dessert-like complexity without having to wait through an extended burn-in phase.
The physical and tobacco specifications of this exact vitola are masterfully calculated to maintain an effortless draw and an exceptionally cool burn across a 45-to-60-minute session. Cloaked in an oily, extra-fermented Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper, the cigar pairs a sturdy Nicaraguan binder with a heart of aged Nicaraguan long-fillers from Estelí and Jalapa. Hand-rolled by master torcedores at the TABOLISA factory in Estelí, this 4″ x 60 vitola guarantees high structural integrity, a straight burn line, and an evolving succession of bittersweet chocolate, espresso, dark molasses, and subtle spice notes.
