The Oliva NUB 358 Connecticut stands as an ultra-compact yet remarkably smooth vitola format within the NUB Connecticut range, masterfully engineered for time-conscious aficionados who seek approachable elegance in a condensed timeframe. Measuring 3¾ inches with a substantial 58 ring gauge, this short Gordo format compresses a vast quantity of long-filler tobaccos into a stocky frame. The result is an immediate transition into the cigar's "sweet spot," delivering the rich density, cool burn temperature, and creamy profile of a traditional large-format smoke within a streamlined session.
The physical and tobacco specifications of this exact vitola are masterfully calculated to maintain an effortless draw and a smooth, cool burn across a 35-to-45-minute timeline. Cloaked in a silky, golden-blonde Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf grown for natural sweetness and subtle nuttiness, the cigar combines a sturdy Nicaraguan binder with a core of aged Nicaraguan long-fillers from Estelí and Jalapa. Hand-rolled by master torcedores at the TABOLISA factory in Estelí, this 3¾″ x 58 vitola guarantees high structural integrity, a straight burn line, and an evolving succession of sweet cream, toasted nut, and cedar notes.
