Ole Smoky Apple Pie Mini Moonshine is produced in the United States, within the region of Tennessee and the subregion of Gatlinburg. Founded in 2010 by Joe Baker, Ole Smoky Distillery was the first federally licensed distillery in the history of East Tennessee. While the company was acquired by the private equity firm Apax Partners in 2022, the founders remain significant shareholders in what has become the most visited distillery in the world.
Description
This flavoured moonshine is crafted from an authentic Appalachian recipe using a corn whiskey base blended with pure apple juice, ground cinnamon, and other spices. It presents a clear appearance with a golden hue. The nose is warm and inviting, offering aromatic notes of freshly baked apple pie and sweet cinnamon. On the palate, it is smooth and comforting with the taste of crisp, juicy apples harmonized by subtle baking spices. It possesses a medium body and a long, warm finish that leaves a delightful lingering sweetness.
