Smoke Meets the Sea
Old Pulteney Huddart is the distillery's most adventurous expression — a lightly peated Northern Highland single malt that adds a layer of gentle smoke to Old Pulteney's signature coastal character. Named for Joseph Huddart, the 18th-century cartographer and mariner who charted Scotland's northern coastline, this expression is a tribute to the spirit of exploration: familiar yet surprising, coastal yet smoky, and deeply rewarding.
- Nose: Fresh and gently smoky — citrus, vanilla, and a soft peat smoke with hints of sea salt, honey, and a subtle coastal earthiness
- Palate: Smooth and well-balanced — toffee, ripe citrus, and a gentle warming spice with a light peat smoke that weaves through the maritime character with easy grace
- Finish: Clean and medium-length with lingering citrus, gentle smoke, and a warm, coastal salt fade
