Domaine Séailles operates quietly in Ténarèze. This forty-five-year-old Ugni Blanc expression arrives via the independent bottler OADE. Decades of resting in heavily charred French oak transformed the raw spirit into something remarkably untamed. The Labérenne family organically dry-farms their remote clay-limestone soils, an uncompromising agricultural approach that inevitably weaves a vibrant, undeniable tension throughout the aging distillate. It's pure history in a cask.
Time acts as the ultimate filter. Bottled specifically for the Autoroute V&T and Honor Among Thieves private selection, this release spotlights Gascony’s profound aging potential. The heavy initial char on the barrels yields a dark, robust profile rarely encountered among traditional local estates. You won't find anything hidden behind added sugar or synthetic coloring. Discerning enthusiasts seeking pure, undisturbed historic vintages will uncover remarkable depth and stunning agrarian complexity within this meticulously supervised forty-five-year single cask distillation process.
