The Nuova Simonelli Appia Life builds on the proven reliability and performance of the original Appia, now enhanced with a sleeker design, improved ergonomics, and greater energy efficiency. Designed for baristas who value consistency and ease of use, the Appia Life is ideal for small cafés, restaurants, or compact commercial settings.
Engineered with sustainability in mind, the Appia Life reduces energy consumption by 13% and environmental impact by 20% compared to the previous Appia II, based on an independent Life Cycle Assessment. This is thanks to the new DRYTEX THERMICAL insulation technology, upgraded materials, and optimized internal components.
Volumetric Precision & Efficiency
The volumetric model allows baristas to program up to four precise espresso volumes (single, double, short, long) per group. This ensures consistent extractions every time, while freeing up the barista to focus on milk steaming, customer engagement, or multitasking during busy hours. In contrast, semi-automatic models lack programmable dosing and do not offer EasyCream automatic steam functionality.
Advanced Brewing Technology
With the ability to produce up to 250 cappuccinos per day (in the 2-group version), the Appia Life maintains consistent performance through two key technologies:
-
Soft Infusion System (SIS): Ensures a uniform extraction by gently pre-infusing the coffee puck.
-
EasyCream (optional): Automatically produces dense, velvety milk foam with speed and precision, perfect for high-volume environments.
Designed for the Barista
The Appia Life is crafted with everyday workflow in mind. A lower profile increases visibility and interaction with customers, while the refined interface and shot control buttons enhance ease of use. Maintenance is faster and simpler, contributing to long-term durability and uptime.
The XT Edition
The Appia Life XT version adds a touch of modern sophistication. While performance remains consistent with the standard model, the XT introduces updated aesthetics and advanced features designed to elevate both functionality and style.
