Built on a wheated mashbill and given a second stint in oak, Nulu Double Oak Wheated Old Fashioned takes a familiar bourbon profile and adds another layer of barrel character. The wheat rounds off the sharper edges, while that extra oak maturation pushes vanilla, caramel and toasted oak to the front, closing with a steady warmth.
Bottled at 55.6% ABV in a 750 ml format, it carries real weight on the palate without losing the softness the grain bill brings. The proof leaves room to drink it neat, over ice, or with a splash of water, making it one for drinkers who want depth and careful barrel work in the glass.
