Collaborations in the whiskey sphere occasionally yield truly fascinating pours. New England Barrel Company teamed up with independent comic creators to launch The Helsing Files, releasing a spectacular 9.5-year-old straight Kentucky bourbon that totally commands your attention. It truly packs a serious punch. Bottled at a formidable 132.2 proof, this sourced release highlights the precise barrel-picking prowess of NEBCo's talented team. You'll quickly see why enthusiasts track down independent bottlers; they unearth hidden casks that massive distilleries might otherwise blend away.
Deep Kentucky roots anchor this wildly expressive barrel-strength whiskey. Sourced from an undisclosed heritage facility, the distillate spent nearly a decade resting in heavily charred American white oak. That extended maturation process forged a staggeringly complex profile brimming with deep wood sugars and intense baking spices. This liquid is simply downright relentless. At an unapologetic 123.2 proof, this bourbon retains its heavy congeners and rich oils, delivering an unadulterated tasting experience seasoned connoisseurs will genuinely appreciate.
