With the creation of My Father Cigars, the Cuban-born Garcia family has bestowed to the cigar world some of the most sumptuously satisfying smokes of the new millennium, none as wildly enjoyable as the Flor de Las Antillas Robusto. This 90+ rated stick is truly something special that is rotation worthy for one and all!
The box-pressed 5” x 50 Flor de Las Antillas Robusto is crafted in the Cuban method with a Nicaraguan binder leaf and a hearty Nicaraguan filler blend accentuated by Cuban-seed tobaccos at its core. A Las Marias Sun Grown wrapper leaf harvested from the Garcia family’s farm in Estela, Nicaragua. The resulting Nicaraguan Puro is an outlandishly gratifying 45 minute or so experience.
The My Father Flor de Las Antillas Robusto unveils savory pepper and spice flavors right at the start, delivering supple cream, leather and cedar notes all along the way. Cocoa and nut nuances tease the senses, as a supple earthiness floats underneath the medium-bodied smoke until a grandly entertaining finish.
Oozing with Cuban-inspired nostalgia and with Cuban-inspired artwork adorning the bands and boxes, the Flor de Las Antillas Robusto is ideal for anyone who craves the bold character, yet refinement of classic Cuban cigars of old. It may be named “The Flower of the Antilles,” but you will certainly come to know it as the jewel of your humidor.
