The My Father Blue Honduras Robusto showcases the García family’s mastery of blending with a tobacco recipe that’s both bold and beautifully structured. At its core is a selection of Honduran-grown long-fillers chosen for their earthy depth and mineral-rich backbone. These tobaccos are paired with Nicaraguan leaves from Estelí and Jalapa, giving the blend additional body, spice, and natural sweetness. Wrapped in a carefully aged Honduran Habano leaf, the Robusto is as visually elegant as it is flavorful.
The interplay of Honduran and Nicaraguan binders and fillers brings forward strong notes of pepper, earth, roasted nuts, and cedar, balanced by touches of espresso and cocoa from the Nicaraguan ligero components. The Honduran wrapper lends a leathery, slightly rustic edge, along with a natural sweetness that helps round off the profile. The medium-to-full-bodied strength remains stable throughout, with a refined, savory character that makes this cigar wonderfully engaging.
As part of My Father Cigars, founded by master blender José “Pepín” García, the Blue Honduras series reflects the brand’s commitment to old-world Cuban technique mixed with modern Honduran and Nicaraguan cultivation. The Robusto highlights the craftsmanship behind this line — a marriage of two iconic tobacco regions brought together with precision and passion.
