A medium roast that is not another chocolate bomb. Earthy and spiced, with real character from the Sumatran beans.
It is the same earthy medium roast as the bag, packed as K-Cup coffee.
The rundown:
- Origin: Colombian, Brazilian, and Sumatran blend
- Roast level: Medium
- Tastes like: Earthy spice, not chocolate. Depth from the Sumatra.
- Bitter? No, we roast it smooth, never bitter
- Acidic? No, smooth and easy on the stomach
- Why this one: For people who want something different from the usual sweet medium roast.
- Brews with: Keurig 1.0 and 2.0 compatible brewers
Why it's called Moose:
The C-17 Globemaster III is the airframe crews call the Moose. It swallows an M1 Abrams, puts it down on a 3,500-foot dirt strip, and then backs itself out under its own power. Strategic airlift size with tactical manners. It flew the medevac runs out of Iraq and Afghanistan that nobody ever made a movie about.
That is this roast. Full body, real weight, and it still lands easy. Big, dependable, a little wild.
Also comes in 12-ounce bags.
