Profile: Medium +
Born in the heart of the Cibao Valley, the Montosa Maduro reflects the rich agricultural heritage of one of the world's premier tobacco growing regions. Surrounded by protective mountains, rolling hills, fertile soil, and a climate shaped by abundant sunshine, tropical rains, and aromatic sea air, the Cibao Valley provides ideal conditions for producing exceptional cigar tobacco. Alongside tobacco, the region is renowned for its cacao, coffee, bananas, and mangos, creating an environment rich in both flavor and tradition.
The Montosa Maduro was blended to achieve one of the greatest challenges in cigar making, delivering a cigar that is both approachable and full of character. Smooth enough for everyday enjoyment yet layered with complexity, it offers a refined smoking experience that appeals to newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts alike.
A dark, oily Mexican San Andrés wrapper surrounds a Bahia Sumatran binder and a carefully balanced blend of Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Brazilian fillers, creating a medium plus profile with exceptional balance. Each draw reveals notes of dark chocolate, cream, cedar, earth, baking spice, and subtle pepper, finishing with a rich, lingering sweetness that highlights the blend's refined complexity.
With its effortless draw, creamy texture, and flavorful profile, the Montosa Maduro showcases the artistry of Dominican blending while celebrating the remarkable terroir of the legendary Cibao Valley.
