Out of the pages of one of literatures great adventure tales comes one of the World’s best cigars: the Montecristo Robusto. An adventure all its own, the Montecristo Robusto is a lushly crafted smoke that will, like the story that inspired its creation, appeals to a broad spectrum of enthusiasts no matter their usual tastes.
The Montecristo Robusto is a classic 5” x 50 stick that is loaded with scrumptious filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic that are tucked into a Dominican binder leaf. Surrounding what will prove a magnificent 45 minute to an hour smoke is an elegant Connecticut Shade wrapper leaf.
As the Montecristo Robusto unfurls, waves of toast, hazelnut and cedar roll over the palate and swirl into an elegantly structured mild-to-medium smoke that is bolstered by smooth creamy undertone. The final stretch to the finish is a serenely smooth and balanced affair that is utterly and completely satisfying.
The Montecristo Robusto is a masterwork that has earned its place amongst the legends of cigar craft and deserves attention by one and all. With a seductive aroma, sensuous body and taste, the Montecristo Robusto is a classic that brings immense gratification like no other. Whether with coffee, Ale or something more pronounced, the Montecristo Robusto will prove a most illustrious companion.
