Privada Storytelling
The Montecristo Media Noche No. 2 Torpedo is Montecristo’s answer to the call for a true Maduro expression — dark, rich, and full of complexity. Meaning “Midnight” in Spanish, Media Noche lives up to its name with a brooding Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper that delivers depth and intensity while still maintaining Montecristo’s hallmark refinement.
In the iconic No. 2 Torpedo vitola, this cigar elevates the experience even further. The tapered head sharpens flavors, bringing focus to the balance of sweetness and spice. It’s a darker, more daring Montecristo, built for nights when elegance meets intensity.
Flavor Journey
The first third opens with black pepper and espresso, quickly softened by cocoa and molasses. Midway, the blend reveals leather and cedar, accented by a subtle dried fruit sweetness from the Peruvian leaf. In the final third, strength ramps up — espresso, spice, and dark chocolate dominate, closing with a long, bold finish.
Why It Belongs in Privada
Privada is about cigars that carry history into new territory, and Media Noche does exactly that. It shows that Montecristo isn’t bound only to tradition but is capable of bold reinvention. The No. 2 Torpedo belongs in Privada because it’s a classic shape paired with a daring blend — the perfect intersection of legacy and innovation.
