Produced by Argiolas, Sardinia’s most celebrated family-owned winery, Mirto Benalonga is a traditional Sardinian liqueur crafted from wild myrtle berries harvested throughout the island. Deeply rooted in Sardinian culture, Mirto has been enjoyed for generations as a digestivo, with Argiolas creating a refined expression that balances the natural intensity of the berries with elegance and purity.
Rich and aromatic, it opens with notes of wild blackberry, blueberry, black cherry, and Mediterranean herbs, layered with hints of spice, balsamic nuances, and a touch of sweetness. Smooth and velvety on the palate, it delivers concentrated dark fruit flavours with a lingering herbal finish that is both complex and refreshing.
Traditionally served chilled after a meal, Mirto Benalonga is an excellent digestivo and can also be enjoyed over ice or incorporated into cocktails. Its distinctive character offers a true taste of Sardinia’s landscape and traditions.
