COZY & COMFORTING

From Mikko's Blue Collection, Rêverie Decaf - Colombia is sure to please the early birds and night owls alike. Rich and balanced, its flavours of caramel and apple are complemented by subtle hints of licorice.

Sweet with a lingering finish, this medium roast single origin Colombian coffee is an everyday crowd pleaser. Developed for a fuller body without masking any of its natural flavours, it is equally enjoyed with or without milk and ideally suited for brewing by any method.

ROAST SCHEDULE

In order to provide you the freshest coffee possible, all orders received up to and including Sunday will be roasted Monday and shipped Wednesday.

12oz | 340g
FROM THE ROASTER

The sugarcane EA (ethyl acetate) decaffeination process is a natural and eco-friendly method for removing caffeine from coffee beans. In this process, ethyl acetate, which is derived from sugarcane, is used to extract the caffeine from the coffee beans.

Compared to other decaffeination methods, the sugarcane EA process is considered to be more natural and environmentally friendly. It does not use harsh chemicals or leave behind any harmful residues. Additionally, the use of sugarcane-derived ethyl acetate helps support sustainable agriculture and reduces the carbon footprint of the decaffeination process.

BLUE COLLECTION

Coffees in Kaito’s Blue Collection are like trusty companions. You can expect a cozy, familiar taste experience with these coffees. Perfect for people looking for full body coffees, low in acidity, with flavour notes more in the nut, dessert, spices and subtle fruit categories.

ABOUT MIKKO

It all began in 2014 with the opening of Mikko Espresso in Hudson, Québec. Soon after, Kaito Coffee opened its roasting facility within the same premises, enjoying a fruitful partnership. To propel the businesses into a new era of growth, the brands fully merged under the Mikko moniker in 2023.

With mindfulness and transparency as guiding values, Mikko continually strives to make the most delicious and sustainable coffee, and to share what they love with others who care as deeply as they do.

In the meantime, they’re simply doing their part to reveal something beautiful—one coffee at a time.
