Midleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey 2022 Vintage is the annual vintage release from Midleton, drawn from whiskeys aged between 12 and 33 years. Since 1984, each Master Distiller has shaped the vintage using their own eye for detail, skill and commitment to quality whiskey.
The aroma opens with fresh mandarin, candied apple, white pepper and grated nutmeg, layered over richer tones of hazelnut chocolate and toffee. On the palate, caramelised red apples and orange zest meet waves of crème brûlée that weave through pot still spices and cereal undertones.
Complex and balanced, with spice, oak, peaches and grain running through the profile. Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 750 ml bottle.
