The MHW-3BOMBER Knight Impact Tamper uses a patented 4-spring internal structure, one more spring than the brand's Flash Tamper line, aimed at further refining how evenly pressure lands across the puck. Product photography shows the tamper's horizontal guide ring, a feature specifically designed to keep the base perfectly level as you press down, so the tamping angle stays consistent even if your wrist isn't perfectly steady. That combination, a fixed 30lb tamping force plus forced vertical alignment, is meant to mimic an ideal tamping curve on every single press rather than relying on the barista's technique to get there.
Key Features
- Patented 4-Spring Internal Design - Delivers calibrated pressure while keeping the tamper aligned vertically.
- Fixed 30lb Tamping Force - A consistent, repeatable press on every shot.
- Horizontal Guide Ring - Keeps the base level for a consistent tamping angle.
- Audible Click Confirmation - Signals the moment full pressure is reached.
- Self-Resetting Mechanism - Ready for the next tamp immediately, suited to high-volume service.
It's built for baristas who want the reliability of a calibrated tamper without sacrificing speed during a busy shift.
