Mexico Chiapas organic green coffee beans sourced from smallholder producers within the El Triunfo Biosphere Reserve, municipality of Ángel Albino Corzo. Exported by Exportadora de Granos Mexicanos (GPRO), this High Grown European Preparation (HG EP) lot scores 84.5 on the SCA scale and carries Organic, Fair Trade FLO, and Fair Trade USA certifications — making it a strong choice for home roasters and commercial roasteries seeking a certified, traceable Mexican specialty coffee available from 1 lb to 75 lb.
Processed using the washed method at 900–1,500 masl, this lot combines Criollo Arabica, Bourbon, Caturra, and Maragogipe varieties harvested December through March. The cup is clean and well-structured, with cocoa, caramel, and dried fruit flavor notes, a winey character, and a round, pleasant aftertaste. Rich aroma, balanced acidity, and full sweetness round out a consistent, easy-to-roast profile.
The clean washed profile and balanced cup make this lot well-suited for filter brewing, pour-over, and medium-roast espresso. Its certifications and consistent HG EP preparation make it a reliable option for roasteries building a certified organic or fair trade offering.
