Meletti Amaro is an Italian herbal liqueur from Ascoli Piceno in Le Marche, bottled at 32% ABV and 64 proof. The Meletti family produces it from a closely held recipe built around aromatic fruits, herbs and spices. This listing is for one 750 mL bottle.
The profile balances sweet orange peel and bitter gentian root with warming notes of clove and fragrant botanicals. Rather than leaning aggressively bitter or syrupy sweet, it brings the two sides together in a rounded, layered digestivo with enough citrus lift to stay lively. Its amber color and aromatic character make it approachable neat while still distinctive in mixed drinks.
Serve it neat after a meal, pour it over ice, or use a measured amount to add bittersweet depth to spirit-forward cocktails. It works especially well alongside whiskey, aged rum, vermouth or bright citrus. Chill lightly rather than freezing, and store the bottle upright in a cool, dark place.
