Product Description
Matusalem Insolito Wine Cask Finish Rum, 70 cl, is where classic rum craft meets a modern edge. Aged rum is finished in carefully selected wine casks, creating a distinctive flavour profile that stands out from the crowd. The influence of the wine barrels adds layers of ripe red berries, soft tannins and gentle sweetness, while the rum itself delivers notes of caramel, vanilla and toasted oak.
The result is smooth yet vibrant, with a subtle pink hue that hints at its unique finish. It is just as enjoyable sipped neat as it is mixed into elevated cocktails, bringing depth and character to every serve. For those looking to explore something a little different, Matusalem Insolito offers a fresh take on aged rum without losing its refined, easy drinking style.
Tasting Notes
Ripe red fruits and soft caramel, balanced with vanilla, light oak and a smooth, gently sweet finish.
