Wrapper: Brazilian
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Profile: Medium +
The Martinez Flatiron Maduro is a bold expression of one of the brand's most celebrated blends, delivering exceptional richness, flawless construction, and a remarkably smooth draw. Inspired by New York City's iconic Flatiron Building, this boutique cigar is handcrafted for smokers who appreciate deep complexity and full flavored character.
A dark, oily Brazilian wrapper encases a proprietary blend of five year aged Nicaraguan fillers and a Nicaraguan binder, creating a medium plus profile with impressive depth and balance. Each draw reveals rich notes of leather, dark earth, espresso, black pepper, and baking spice, complemented by subtle mineral undertones and a long, satisfying finish. Bold yet refined, the Flatiron Maduro offers the complexity experienced enthusiasts seek without sacrificing smoothness.
Hand rolled in the heart of New York City, Martinez Cigars has remained proudly boutique since 1974, when Don Antonio Martinez founded the company with a commitment to traditional craftsmanship over mass production. Today, his son Jesus Martinez continues that legacy from the family's small factory, producing premium cigars that have earned a devoted following among enthusiasts who appreciate quality, consistency, and old world cigar making.
Though Martinez has spent decades flying under the radar by design, their cigars have become favorites among those fortunate enough to discover them. The Flatiron Maduro is a perfect example of why Martinez continues to be one of the most respected boutique cigar makers in the industry.
