Maniball Peanut Butter Tequila mixes real tequila with a bold peanut butter flavor. The base is Octavio Reposado Tequila from Mexico. Maniball bottles it in Garland, Texas, at 31% ABV, or 62 proof. It is a fun, easygoing pour for shots, sipping and simple mixed drinks.
Lift the glass and you get roasted peanuts and creamy nut butter right away. Take a sip, and the nutty flavor stays up front. Soft agave from the tequila sits just behind it. The finish is warm, and the peanut butter taste hangs on for a while.
The brand keeps the sugar in check. Its own page says "no sweetness," so this is not a syrupy liqueur. You taste nut and agave rather than candy. That makes it easy to enjoy in more than one way.
Pour it neat, chill it over ice, or knock it back as a shot. It also works in dessert-style drinks, like a nutty espresso martini or a Peanut Colada. Try it next to chocolate desserts, salted nuts or a cup of coffee.
This spirit suits you if you like to try new things. It is a great bottle for parties. It also makes a fun gift for the friend who thinks they have tasted everything.
