Manatee Gourmet Ground Coffee Medium Roast is a coarse-ground, 2 lb bag formulated specifically for smooth cold brew with 100% Arabica beans and a balanced medium body.
Enjoy café-style cold brew at home while supporting manatee conservation. This 2-pound package from Manatee Gourmet Coffee contains medium-roasted, coarsely ground Arabica beans roasted and packaged in the USA. The blend is designed for optimal flavor extraction during long, low-temperature steeping, producing a mellow, balanced cup that works well straight, diluted over ice, or as a base for coffee drinks.
What makes this ground coffee suited for cold brew?
Cold brew demands a coarser grind and a roast level that balances sweetness with subtle acidity. Manatee Gourmet’s coarse grind prevents over-extraction during the extended steep, and the medium roast keeps the cup smooth and medium-bodied instead of bitter or overly smoky.
- Coarse grind calibrated for steeping 12–24 hours.
- Medium roast retains natural sweetness and balanced acidity.
- 100% Arabica beans for clarity of flavor and lower bitterness.
- Large 2 lb volume for multiple batches or frequent cold-brew drinkers.
How should I brew with this coffee to get the best cold brew?
Use a 1:4 to 1:8 coffee-to-water ratio depending on desired strength, steep in cold or room-temperature water for 12–24 hours, then filter. Dilute the concentrate with water or milk to taste and serve over ice for a smooth, low-acidity cup.
- Suggested starting ratio: 1 cup coarse grounds to 4 cups water for concentrate.
- Steep time: 12–24 hours, then fine-filter or press to remove grounds.
- Storage: refrigerate brewed concentrate up to 7 days.
- Adjust dilution (1:1 to 1:3) for serving strength preferences.
