E80W Grind-by-Sync
The Next Evolution in Commercial Espresso Grinding
The E80W Grind-by-Sync (GbS) redefines precision, speed, and consistency in high-volume espresso environments. Built on the proven platform of the E80S Grind-by-Weight, this next-generation commercial espresso grinder introduces Sync System technology, delivering automated grind size control, seamless workflow integration, and unmatched shot consistency — even during peak service.
Designed for busy cafés, roasteries, and multi-group operations, the E80W GbS combines 80mm burrs, active temperature control, and intelligent automation to ensure maximum productivity without compromising coffee quality.
Sync System™: Smarter Grinding, Perfect Extraction
The E80W GbS features Sync-enabled connectivity, allowing the grinder to electronically adjust burr distance with extreme precision. Baristas can manually fine-tune grind size or activate automatic synchronization with a compatible commercial espresso machine or Sync-enabled device to hit target extraction times effortlessly.
Powered by an intelligent algorithm, Grind-by-Sync delivers fast, repeatable, and highly accurate extractions, reducing dialing-in time and eliminating guesswork — ideal for fast-paced café environments where consistency matters.
High-Precision Grind-by-Weight Technology
At the core of the E80W GbS is industry-leading Grind-by-Weight technology. A high-accuracy load cell weighs coffee 6,000 times per second during grinding, ensuring exact dosing every time.
This eliminates over- and under-dosing, minimizes waste, and guarantees shot-to-shot consistency — even during rush periods. The result: reliable espresso quality at scale, regardless of barista experience.
Automated Grind Size Adjustment (AGSA)
The E80W GbS features fully automated, electrical grind transitions between stored recipes. The Automatic Grind Size Adjustment (AGSA) system uses two precision sensors — one tracking cone shaft position and the other monitoring motor behavior — to adjust grind fineness with an accuracy of 0.001 mm.
This level of control ensures flawless espresso consistency across multiple recipes, beans, and service periods, making it ideal for cafés running multiple espresso offerings.
Tool-Free Burr Calibration in Seconds
Traditional burr calibration can take 10 minutes or more. The E80W Grind-by-Sync reduces that to just 10 seconds.
With a few taps on the display, users can calibrate burrs to zero — no tools, no disassembly, no downtime. This delivers over 98% faster calibration, keeping grinders online and service uninterrupted.
Built for High-Volume Quality and Operational Efficiency
The E80W GbS is engineered to deliver uncompromising espresso quality in demanding commercial environments. Grind-by-Sync significantly reduces training time, allowing new staff to produce consistent espresso quickly while giving experienced baristas greater control and confidence.
By combining Grind-by-Weight accuracy, automated grind adjustment, and Sync System intelligence, the E80W GbS helps cafés maintain exceptional drink quality, faster workflows, and higher customer satisfaction — even at peak volume.
