Macanudo – Espresso with Cream Belicoso
A Rich Espresso-Inspired Cigar with Creamy Sweetness & Striking Barber-Pole Style
🌎 ORIGIN & CRAFTSMANSHIP
- Handmade in Nicaragua 🇳🇮 – Crafted as a premium infused cigar using hand-selected Nicaraguan tobacco.
- Part of the M by Macanudo Collection – Macanudo’s innovative family of cigars designed to combine traditional premium construction with sophisticated infused flavors.
- Distinctive Barber-Pole Wrapper – Alternating Indonesian Maduro and lighter shade-grown wrapper leaves create an eye-catching contrast and a unique balance of rich and mellow tobacco character.
- Wrapper: Indonesian Barber Pole – A combination of darker Maduro and lighter natural-style tobacco.
- Binder: Philippine tobacco – Adds structure and another distinctive international element to the blend.
- Filler: Nicaraguan long-filler tobacco – Provides the earthy richness and premium tobacco backbone beneath the infusion.
- Espresso with Cream Infusion – Carefully infused with the essence of rich espresso and velvety cream, creating a café-inspired smoking experience without overwhelming the natural tobacco.
- Premium Handmade Construction – Unlike many flavored cigars, M by Macanudo is designed to preserve the feel, burn and complexity of a traditional hand-rolled premium cigar.
👅 TASTE & FLAVOR PROFILE
- First Third: Opens with an inviting rush of fresh espresso, sweet cream and aromatic roasted coffee, supported by smooth natural tobacco.
- Middle Third: Develops richer layers of cocoa, caramel-like sweetness, toasted nuts and creamy coffee, while the Nicaraguan filler begins to contribute greater earthy depth.
- Final Third: Becomes warmer and more tobacco-forward, with dark roast coffee, chocolate, earth and gentle spice balancing the lingering creaminess.
- Overall: A smooth yet flavorful Medium-bodied cigar dominated by espresso, cream, cocoa, caramel and premium tobacco.
💨 SMOKE CHARACTERISTICS
- Strength: Medium – Macanudo officially classifies the Espresso with Cream blend as medium-bodied.
- Smoke Texture: Creamy, aromatic and rich, with the espresso infusion creating a distinctly café-like aroma.
- Flavor Intensity: Pronounced enough for experienced infused-cigar smokers while remaining approachable and smooth.
- Burn Time: Approximately 55–75 minutes, depending on smoking pace.
- Belicoso Draw: The tapered head allows the smoker to control the opening when cutting, helping customize the draw and concentration of smoke.
- Smoke Production: The generous 54-ring gauge produces thick, aromatic smoke that carries the espresso-and-cream profile exceptionally well.
- Best Smoking Pace: Slow and relaxed – helps preserve the cigar’s cream, cocoa and coffee sweetness while preventing the larger ring gauge from overheating.
