LorAnn Oils Super Strength Blackberry Flavoring is an ultra-concentrated flavoring designed to deliver bold, true blackberry taste in candies, baked goods, gummies, and beverages without diluting texture or moisture.
If you want a strong, bakery-quality blackberry note that survives heating and candy-making, this concentrated flavoring provides more punch per drop than standard extracts. Made in the USA, kosher and gluten-free, the formula is 3–4 times stronger than typical extracts so you use far less to reach the same intensity—ideal for hard candy, gummies, frostings, cakes, and flavored beverages.
How much do I need to use compared with regular extract?
This Super Strength flavoring is formulated to be 3–4X stronger than common extracts, so recipes require much smaller amounts. Start small, then adjust to taste; a few drops often replace a teaspoon of extract.
- Use 20–33% of the extract amount as a starting point (e.g., 1–2 drops vs. 1 tsp).
- Ideal for recipes where excess liquid would alter texture, such as hard candy and gummies.
- Stir evenly into batters, syrups, or candy masses to avoid spotty flavor pockets.
Will the blackberry flavor hold up during baking or candy cooking?
Yes—this concentrated oil is designed to retain its profile during high-heat processes and long cooking times better than many water-based extracts. Because it is a super strength flavoring, it stands up well in hot sugar or oven temperatures without losing character.
- Suitable for hard candy, caramels, gummies, and baked goods.
- Add after the most intense boil stage for candy to preserve aromatic top notes.
- Fold gently into batters or fillings late in mixing to keep volatile aromatics intact.
What types of recipes benefit most from this LorAnn blackberry flavoring?
This flavoring shines where concentrated, lasting fruit flavor is needed without added moisture. It’s commonly used by professionals and home cooks to recreate bakery-quality fruit notes in confectionery and pastry work.
- Hard candies, lollipops, and boiled sweets for clear blackberry taste.
- Gummies and chews where strong flavor must survive gel-setting.
- Frostings, buttercreams, fillings, and reduced syrups for intense berry accents.
- Beverages and mocktails where concentrated flavor is preferred to preserve texture.
Are there allergy, diet or manufacturing details I should know?

- Gluten-free and kosher-certified labeling on product packaging.
- Highly concentrated, so little volume is added—good for low-carb recipes.
- Store in a cool, dark place away from direct heat to preserve potency.
