This zesty craft cider originates from Canada, specifically British Columbia, and is crafted using fruit from the sun-soaked Okanagan Valley. Lonetree Cider Co. is a proudly Canadian owned company that focuses on traditional, old-fashioned cider-making techniques. Their philosophy is rooted in supporting local family orchards, some of which feature trees nearly 80 years old, ensuring their ciders are made from 100 per cent real apples rather than concentrates.
The Ginger Apple Cider is a signature blend that combines crisp, dry apple cider with the exotic warmth of real ginger. It displays a transparent dark-yellow colour with medium carbonation. On the nose, a spiced ginger aroma dominates, complemented by notes of zesty candied ginger and mild dessert apples. The palate is crisp and balanced, beginning with a light hit of sweet apple that is quickly overtaken by a strong, spicy ginger kick. It is characterized by a dry finish that can feel almost hot at the back of the throat, leaving a long-lasting, tingly linger on the palate. The alcohol by volume (ABV) is 5.5 per cent. This cider is naturally gluten-free and contains approximately 7 grams of sugar per can.
