Livio Felluga Terre Alte Rosazzo DOCG 2022 750ml is the 2022 vintage of the estate’s flagship white blend from the historic Terre Alte vineyards in Rosazzo, Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Estate-grown Friulano, Pinot Bianco, and Sauvignon come together in a single 750ml bottle at 13.5% ABV / 27 proof. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates, carefully destemmed, briefly macerated, and softly pressed. Fermentation begins in temperature-controlled stainless steel before the wine moves to oak casks to complete alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, followed by time on the lees.
The producer describes a brilliant golden color and a layered profile built around elderflower, broom, guava, mango, white fig, and a mineral note reminiscent of a sun-warmed riverbed. Saffron, sage, and other Mediterranean herbs add detail, while ripe peach and lemon curd shape the palate. The wine balances full structure with fine texture, bright savory acidity, and a long finish marked by yellow plum, toasted almond, white chocolate, and salinity. Its blend, Rosazzo origin, and mixed steel-and-oak élevage give the vintage both immediate aromatic range and the structure to continue developing in bottle.
