This cask strength American whiskey originates from the United States, produced in the Kentucky region. Created by Freddie Noe—eighth-generation Beam family distiller and Master Distiller of the Fred B. Noe Distillery at Jim Beam—the "Little Book" series is an annual, limited-release whiskey collection named after Freddie's childhood nickname given by his grandfather, Booker Noe. Chapter X (Chapter 10) represents the 10th landmark edition in this celebrated series, featuring a complex blend of aged, uncut, and unfiltered cask-strength whiskies crafted to push the boundaries of traditional American whiskey blending.
Spirit Description
This whiskey presents a deep, dark garnet mahogany hue in the glass. The nose is rich, dense, and intensely aromatic, opening with bold notes of dark cherry molasses, toasted oak, and rich leather, followed by undertones of toasted pecans, dark chocolate, and warm baking spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied and viscous, delivering a powerful burst of caramel fudge, seasoned oak, dark stone fruit, and cinnamon spice, balanced by complex rye grain warmth and sweet corn. The finish is exceptionally long, warm, and lingering, leaving a deep trail of charred oak, dark cocoa, vanilla bean, and peppery spice. Bottled at barrel proof (cask strength) without chill filtration, it offers extraordinary depth, raw intensity, and multi-layered complexity.
