Multi-medal winning Linguist Estates is no stranger to what happens when a harmonious connection forms between vineyard, climate, and winemaker. Each wine continues to harness the subtleties of every unique vintage and varietal to create beautiful expressions earning multiple 90+ scores, as well as Platinum and Gold Medals. With our Clarksburg Sauvignon Blanc, we are sure to add another victor to this group of award winners. This wine is light and lively, with notes of fleshy citrus complemented by an intriguing mineral texture. These fresh and fruity characteristics result from the region's cool climate. Although Clarksburg falls decidedly inland from the Pacific Ocean, it receives cooling maritime influences from the Sacramento–San Joaquin River Delta. These afternoon breezes alleviate warm temperatures in the vineyard, meaning our Sauvignon Blanc grapes can maintain their characteristic acidity while flavors reach a delectable ripeness. Sip a glass and pick up your favorite book, or pair it with creamy cheeses and stimulating conversation at your next gathering. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
