Les Volets Malbec Gift Boxed
Les Volets Malbec is a bold yet refined French red wine from the rolling foothills of the Haute Vallée de l’Aude in the Languedoc region of southern France. While Argentina may dominate modern Malbec, the grape’s roots are firmly in France - and this bottle reminds us why.
This Malbec hails from the Haute Vallee de l’Aude, a cooler microclimate in the Languedoc known for producing wines with both ripeness and finesse. Offering an elegant and food-friendly expression of the variety. It’s smooth, richly flavoured, and full of dark fruit character, with a balance that suits both mid-week meals and weekend gatherings.
- The nose is expressive with ripe plum, blackberry, and hints of black cherry, underpinned by violet florals, mocha, and a touch of spice.
- On the palate, it’s soft and generous, with juicy black fruit, rounded tannins, and subtle notes of cocoa and liquorice.
- The finish is smooth and warming, with just enough freshness to keep it balanced and food-friendly.
Presented in a smart, ready-to-gift box, Les Volets Malbec is an excellent choice for wine lovers who appreciate bold flavour with a French accent - perfect for birthdays, thank-yous, or casual celebrations.
