This structured and 'crystalline' sparkling wine originates from Italy, within the prestigious Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore D.O.C.G. appellation situated in the Veneto region. Produced by Le Manzane a revered family-run estate located in San Pietro di Feletto the winery operates under a precision-focused, eco-sustainable philosophy that showcases the steep, sun-drenched hillsides of the Prosecco heartland. Sourced exclusively from hillside vineyards (colline) featuring clay-limestone and sandstone soils, the vines experience warm daylight tempered by cool alpine breezes descending from the nearby Dolomites. This dramatic diurnal temperature variation allows the Glera grapes to develop rich aromatic precursors while retaining a crisp, mouthwatering natural acidity.
Wine Description
The Le Manzane Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut presents a luminous, pale straw-yellow appearance in the glass with bright greenish highlights and a fine, persistent perlage of delicate bubbles. Its sensory profile is exceptionally fresh, high-toned, and complex, delivering a masterfully clean and fragrant expression of top-tier DOCG Prosecco. The bouquet opens with an inviting display of fresh Renetta apples, crisp Williams pears, and white peach, seamlessly layered with delicate floral undertones of wisteria, acacia blossom, lemon verbena, and a touch of crushed stone minerality. On the palate, the wine is light-to-medium-bodied, sleek, and precisely focused, showcasing a vibrant core of orchard fruits, lime zest, and subtle green almond. It is characterized by its outstanding inner energy and an incisive, mouthwatering backbone of natural acidity that cuts cleanly through the delicate mid-palate mousse. The mouthfeel is creamy, weightless, and supple, carrying into a dry, refreshing, and mineral-driven finish accented by lingering notes of green apple and white flowers.
