THE DESIGN
The Le Grand Dupont in matte brown lacquer and gold — a Padrón collaboration piece, engraved with the island of Cuba and the initials “JOP” of the Cuban house's founder.
THE SOUND
Open the cap and the unmistakable S.T. Dupont “cling” rings out — the signature sound of a Ligne lighter, machined to resonate like a tuning fork.
THE FLAME
Two flames in one lighter — the New Le Grand's double ignition system lets you choose the refined soft flame for the considered lighting of a fine cigar, or switch to the torch for power outdoors.
THE COLLABORATION
This piece marks the 60th anniversary of the Padrón house. Its yellow-gold finishes echo the Padrón cigar band, and its matte brown lacquer recalls the wrapper leaf that dresses their blends.
THE CRAFT
Finished by hand to the maison’s standard — and, for the first time, delivered with a screwdriver so you can change the lighter’s flint yourself.
THE HERITAGE
From a maison founded in Paris in 1872, where each lighter is built to be serviced and carried for a lifetime, not replaced.
THE RITUAL
Lighting a cigar is a small ceremony. A lighter like this honours it — deliberate, tactile, and unmistakably yours.
