THE FLAME
Two flames in one body — a gentle soft flame for the purist and a torch for the wind. The connoisseur chooses.
THE CRAFT
Layer upon layer of black Chinese lacquer is applied by hand to a brass base and polished between coats — the Chinese-lacquer technique S.T. Dupont has perfected over decades. The result is a deep, glass-like surface that lasts a lifetime.
THE DESIGN
Le Grand Dupont — the grand-format lighter with two interchangeable flames — a soft flame and a torch. Refillable for life and serviced rather than discarded — built to be carried every day.
THE RITUAL
An instrument for a ritual: weighty, precise, and made to be reached for again and again.
