The Crowned Heads Le Careme Hermoso No. 1, crafted by hand in the Dominican Republic, offers a satisfying medium-bodied experience with a rich and sweet flavor profile featuring notes of nuts. Encased in a dark and alluring USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, it also incorporates an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos. This cigar makes a superb selection to enjoy after a meal.
The "Le Careme" name honors Marie-Antoine Carême, a highly influential figure in French gastronomy often called "the king of cooks and cook of kings," who significantly transformed French culinary practices. He is particularly remembered for popularizing the chocolate soufflé, and according to Perrez-Carrillo Jr., this cigar aims to evoke that very dessert. Boasting a Grade A Dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, the Le Careme is visually appealing and offers an enticing aroma. This sweet creation from Crowned Heads is highly recommended for those seeking a flavorful smoke.
