The Privada Cigar Club BBQ Pig is one of the most iconic and talked-about releases in modern boutique cigar history. Originally launched in 2022 through the Limited Cigar Association (LCA), this legendary cigar quickly developed a cult following thanks to its rare "pig" vitola and unforgettable flavor profile. Crafted by the renowned Quesada family in the Dominican Republic, only two master torcedores were trusted to roll this notoriously difficult size-making every cigar a true expression of skill and tradition.
Now returning as the final production run, the BBQ Pig features tobaccos that have been aged for two years, allowing the blend to mature, mellow, and deepen into its most refined expression yet. This release is both a farewell and a celebration of one of the most sought-after LCA cigars ever created.
Flavor Profile Journey:
First Third: Opens with bold notes of charred oak, molasses sweetness, and a signature smoky BBQ character. Black pepper and earthy undertones enhance the retrohale for a rich, savory introduction.
Second Third: The body develops into roasted nuts, cedar, and soft leather, layered with a caramelized sweetness and balanced peppery spice. Dense, chewy smoke adds depth and texture.
Final Third: Evolves into smoky earth, charred meat nuances, dark chocolate, and espresso. The BBQ-inspired sweetness lingers through the finish for a complex, satisfying close.
