With Pacific fogs and ocean breezes, Edna Valley is a great spot to grow the Grüner Veltliner grape. Practical and easy on the palate, this wine is a go-to in its native Austria—and it’s easy to see why. Clean, complex, and with a generous acidity, it goes well with everything from confit chicken to zucchini to cod. Get ready to experience refreshing notes of guava, passion fruit, and honeysuckle combined with a light burst of white peach sherbet. Enjoy with light meats, white fish, or simply as a palate cleanser—this one’s a real all-rounder. Judges love it too! It took home 91 points and a Gold Medal at the 2020 Winemaker Challenge and a Bronze medal at the 2020 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
