Introduction
The Laughing Stock Pinot Gris originates from Canada, specifically the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia. The winery, Laughing Stock Vineyards, was founded in 2003 by David and Cynthia Enns, who transitioned from careers in the financial industry. The name of the winery is a playful reference to the risky nature of starting a winery, a sentiment often heard from their former financial colleagues. The winemaking philosophy is based on producing high-quality, hand-crafted wines, with an emphasis on staying out of the way of over-processing the fruit. The winery is located on the prestigious Naramata Bench.
Wine Description
This is a white wine made from the Pinot Gris varietal, which is the most planted white grape in the Okanagan Valley. It consistently produces an enjoyable, fruit-forward, and food-friendly wine. The Alcohol By Volume (ABV) is 13.00 percent.
