Lasso Motel Wheated Kentucky Straight Bourbon hails from the heart of Kentucky at the Green River Distillery, where tradition meets careful craftsmanship. Aged for four years in American oak barrels, this bourbon offers a gentle, inviting character that balances honeyed sweetness with delicate spice. Its nose greets you with fresh pear, soft charred oak, and a whisper of cereal and oatmeal, setting the stage for a warm, approachable experience.
On the palate, dark chocolate emerges first before giving way to cedar wood, creating a layered mid-palate that slowly mellows into a sweet finish of baking spice, clove, and honeyed maple. The mash bill of 70% corn, 21% wheat, and 9% malted barley ensures a smooth, wheated foundation that glides effortlessly. With 100 proof, it carries enough strength to be bold yet refined, perfect for sipping neat or over a single large ice cube.
Lasso Motel is more than a bourbon; it’s the kind of drink that sparks a quiet grin, the one reserved for moments at a mahogany bar or late-night conversations. It’s approachable, timeless, and crafted to reward patience, offering a classic Kentucky bourbon experience with every sip.
