At Lao, we draw inspiration from the similarities between tea and wine. Much like a fine
vintage, tea is an expression of its terroir, the craftsmanship of artisans, and the time it takes to reveal its full richness. Gyokuro, often referred to as “Precious Dew,” is one of Japan’s most refined green teas. It is carefully grown and shaded before harvest to develop deep aromas and a velvety texture.
Lao’s Sparkling Tea Gyokuro Okabe transforms this exceptional tea into a sophisticated
sparkling beverage. Each sip reveals tropical fruit notes, honeydew melon, and gentle
spices, with a buttery texture reminiscent of fine sparkling wines. This unique combination of Japanese tradition and artisanal creativity delivers a non-alcoholic experience of great
elegance.
Notes: A buttery edge rises to flavors of peaches, pears and honeydew melon,
followed by a finish that evokes the bitterness of a peach pit
