Lamb's Dark Navy Rum hails from the Caribbean, blending rums sourced from Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, and Barbados. The Lamb's brand was founded in 1849 by Alfred Lamb in London and has remained a classic choice in naval rum, celebrated for its British heritage and traditional rum-making methods. Now produced by Corby Spirit and Wine Limited in Canada, Lamb’s continues to honour its original maritime character and robust style.
Rum Description
Lamb’s Dark Navy Rum pours a deep, mahogany brown with copper highlights. On the nose, it offers aromas of molasses, brown sugar, dried fruit, and baking spice, underpinned by hints of oak and toffee. The palate is rich and full-bodied, delivering smooth layers of caramel, spiced fruitcake, and licorice, followed by a long warming finish with a slightly smoky edge. A blend of 18 different Caribbean rums, it is aged and then blended in Canada, achieving complexity and a bold, well-balanced profile. Best enjoyed neat, over ice, or in classic cocktails like the Dark ‘n’ Stormy or Rum Punch.
