Wine Description
The 2021 'Astra' Chardonnay is a testament to Lake Breeze's commitment to excellence. While specific tasting notes for this vintage are not available, previous releases have showcased a pale straw hue with aromas of citrus and green apple. The palate typically offers a balance of bright acidity and subtle oak influences, leading to a clean, crisp finish. Earlier vintages have been noted for their mix of citrus, pear, and spicy hazelnut flavours, with a nose combining bright green apple and citrus with buttery tones.
Food Pairing
This Chardonnay pairs excellently with dishes such as lobster, roasted chicken, or grilled halibut.
