L'Abeille Picpoul De Pinet
This Picpoul Blanc from Languedoc was created by Master of Wine Liam Steevenson, known for expressive, coastal French whites. Known locally as “Lip Stinger”, Picpoul is prized for its naturally high acidity and citrus-driven profile.
Fermented on the lees, this bottling offers a rounder style than typical Picpoul, with added depth and freshness. Vegan and vegetarian friendly, it is a crisp, expressive white wine that reflects the biodiversity of its coastal terroir.
- Opens with aromas of white peach, apricot kernel and zesty lime peel.
- The palate shows citrus fruit, green pepper and fennel with a soft, rounded mouthfeel.
- Finishes bright and clean with lingering lime zest and a subtle saline edge.
Perfect with oysters, grilled prawns or lemon-dressed crab.
