Privada Storytelling
The La Sirena Super Sea Monkey takes inspiration from a nostalgic piece of pop culture — the whimsical aquarium novelties that promised a world of wonder in a small glass tank. But this cigar is no gimmick. It’s a rare, medium-bodied masterpiece built with an ultra-fermented Nicaraguan Cameroon Negro Maduro wrapper — a leaf so unusual and exotic it feels like discovering a hidden species.
Rolled at Raul Lanuza’s factory in Nicaragua, this cigar bridges past and present. It evokes the innocence of childhood curiosity while delivering the sophistication of world-class tobacco blending. The result is an experience both playful and profound, designed for those who still believe cigars can surprise them.
Flavor Journey
The first puffs reveal stone fruit sweetness layered with a smooth caramel glaze. As the burn develops, notes of black tea and roasted cocoa unfold, weaving complexity with balance. Midway, Estelí spice brings warmth and depth, while the Peruvian filler adds an exotic tang that lingers. The final third is a rich crescendo of chocolate, spice, and subtle fruit — a finish as memorable as the story behind it.
Why It Belongs in Privada
This release is everything the LCA was created to highlight: rare tobaccos, playful inspiration, and cigars that stand apart from anything else on the shelf. With only a limited quantity produced and just 50 remaining, the La Sirena Super Sea Monkey embodies Privada’s mission to make cigar smoking exciting, collectible, and meaningful.
